Plasma / Drill / Pipe Rotator
Latest technology included, our Zinser plasma ensures a clean and high standard cut. The Plasma has a bed width of 2.5m and a length of 6m with a cutting capacity of 32ml. The plasma also includes pipe cutting and CNC drilling. At the side of the bed there is a chuck where up to a 350mm diameter of pipe or box material can be fitted. The chuck can rotate allowing the plasma to cut every side of the ... Read more..
Drill & Saw
The Drill & Saw is pinnacle to the structural steel that is fabricated at Mc Menamin Engineering. The design engineers are able to sent drawings straight to the drill and saw in which it can implement the instructions. The machine has high speed cutting and drilling and can handle steel up to 1m wide.
Press Brake
Press Brake is a machine that is used to bend sheet metal. Our experienced team members can bend up to THICKNESS of steel. The machine includes a lot of different components that allow our engineers to bend sheets to any angle. It is mostly used for shaping flashing's for projects.
Guillotine
The Guillotine is a machine that is used to cut metal sheets. It can cut up to 8mm of mild steel, 6mm of stainless steel and 10mm of Aluminium and can handle sheets up to 4m. The Guillotine is in line with the Press Brake as it is mostly used to cut sheets of material for flashing's on projects.
Shot Blaster
The shot blaster is used to clean and prepare steel for a new coating. The machine can handle steel up to 1.5m wide and is normally used to clean steel beams, box, angle, pipes, flat and plate. Rollers and cross transfers are used to put the steel through the blaster which is also in combination with the Drill & Saw.
Paint Spraying
Paint Spraying is the last process for structural steel going through our workshop. Once the steel has been fabricated it is sent to the spray booth to get a primer of any specification.
